FIRST AID CPR / AED

Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner.  These are courses for students with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements or for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. The courses are classroom-based and video based. E-cards processed by CPR Certification Solutions arrive to the student directly from the American Heart Association in about one business day.

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID CPR/AED – CLASSROOM LEARNING - Instructor-Led First Aid, CPR & AED Training

Our Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Classroom Course provides hands-on, instructor-led training for individuals with limited or no medical experience who need certification for work, school, or personal readiness.

What You Will Learn

  • How to recognize, respond to, and manage illnesses and injuries during the first critical minutes before EMS arrives

  • How to perform adult CPR, provide rescue breaths, and respond to choking emergencies

  • How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during sudden cardiac arrest

  • Real-life first aid care, including bleeding control, allergic reactions, burns, and more

AHA Practice-While-Watching Method

This course uses the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, ensuring:

Certification

Part 1 – Online Learning (Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Online)

Complete the online modules at your own pace. This interactive eLearning program includes:

  • Dramatized emergency scenarios

  • eSimulations and guided animations

  • Self-directed learning modules

  • Interactive activities to build confidence in first aid and CPR skills

You will learn how to:

  • Respond to medical and injury emergencies

  • Perform CPR
