CPR / AED TRAINING

Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner.  These are courses for students with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card for job, regulatory or other requirements or for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card.  The courses are classroom-based and video based.
E-cards processed by CPR Certification Solutions arrive to the student directly from the American Heart Association in about one business day.

CPR/AED Certification – Classroom & Blended Learning Options

Get certified in CPR and AED with American Heart Association (AHA)–approved Heartsaver CPR/AED courses. Choose from Classroom Learning or Blended Learning based on your schedule and learning preference. Ideal for workplace training, personal preparedness, and anyone needing CPR certification for job or regulatory requirements.

CPR / AED – CLASSROOM LEARNING - Instructor-Led CPR & AED Training

Our CPR/AED Classroom Course provides hands-on, instructor-led training that teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills of basic CPR and proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

CPR / AED – BLENDED LEARNING - Online Learning + In-Person Skills Session

The Heartsaver CPR/AED Blended Learning Course is perfect for busy individuals seeking a flexible way to complete initial or renewal CPR certification.

Part 1 – Heartsaver CPR/AED Online

​

Learn CPR and AED skills through an interactive, self-paced online program that includes:

​

  • Dramatized emergency scenarios

  • eSimulations and guided animations

  • Self-directed learning modules

  • Interactive activities teaching how and when to perform CPR and how to use an AED

​

This online portion covers the critical steps needed to respond during the first minutes of an emergency before EMS arrives.

Part 2 – Hands-On Skills Practice

​

Attend an instructor-led, in-person session focused on:

​

  • Hands-on CPR practice

  • AED operation and decision-making

  • Reinforcement of proper compression depth, rate, and technique

​

Part 3 – Skills Testing

​

After the practice session, students complete a full skills test with an AHA instructor.

Certification

​

  • Earn the same Heartsaver CPR/AED certification card as the classroom course

  • Valid for two years

  • No written exam

  • Learn at your own pace with online flexibility and in-person proficiency testing

Important: Although Part 1 is done online, this is NOT an online-only course—the hands-on portion is required for certification.
