What the AHA BLS CPR Certification Covers

This hands-on AHA BLS certification course teaches participants how to respond to a wide range of emergencies, including:

​

• Adult CPR: One-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR, plus adult foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO)

• Pediatric CPR: Child and infant one-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR, plus pediatric FBAO

• Airway & Ventilation: Use of bag-mask ventilation devices for all ages

• AED Training: Safe and effective use of automated external defibrillators

By the end of the class, participants will be able to recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, and respond quickly and safely in critical situations.
